Profile – Robert Meyers Education: BS in Applied and Engineering Physics, Cornell University,
2004. MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cornell University, 2005. Phd candidate in Sustainability, Arizona State University, 2008 -
present Robert is currently a Phd student in the School of Sustainability at
Arizona State University. His background is largely in physics and the computer
modeling of systems, with specific experience in the areas of nanophotonics and
nanofabrication. Robert's current research interests are still evolving but are
generally in the area of urban and industrial ecology, energetics, and complex
system dynamics. He worked for General Dynamics C4S in Scottsdale, AZ
from March 2006 until January 2008. His work consisted of coding, simulating,
and testing various components of an earth-space satellite communications
